Q. Im upset over the fact that only HD channels look good on an HDTV, and the rest of the channels, which is 90percent of everything else that you pay for comes out on your screen in a bad stretched distorted image, unless you change the aspect ratio to 4:3 which makes the screen significantly smaller and your tv is no longer the size you bought it for.. Really why would they make this kind of tv if regular tv looks crappy on it....Unless of course there might be a way to have a full screen image without the stretchy distorted image. I dont even care if it isnt the sharpest image...but at least the picture doesnt make things look short and fat......Im upgrading to HD service from Dish NET with monter HDMI cable to see what happens....Anybody else have this problem/complaint about there expance Crap Definintion TV?
A. Wait....
It'll get better....
You big crybaby....
You don't have FIOS TV....at least not yet.
And WHEN you do...your Low DEF channels will be so clean and clear, you'll wonder why you didn't go FIOS sooner....
So wait, you big crybaby.....
Oh, almost forgot to mention...You DON'T NEED a Monster HDMI cable...Let the DISH-guy install his own HDMI cable....
My Verizon FIOS installer gave me a choice of HDMI or Component Cabling and they gave me a BELKIN cable...the standard for Video engineers for decades....
Monster will break your HDMI connectors.....and the HDMI signal is DIGITAL not Analog, so why buy a cable designed for ANALOG signal when all you're transmitting thru that cable is simple digital pulses?? Costs less too...
Belkin actually fared better in the bandwidth tests over Monster...
But the Monster cleaner Kit is worth the $20....even comes with the Microfiber cleaning cloth....

How do you clean a LCD television?
Q. We just purchased a Sony Bravia 40 inch LCD HDTV and I am unsure of how to clean the screen.
A. Go to RADIO SHACK, PURCHASE THE $20 Monster Screen Cleaner Kit.....PROTECTS THE PLASTIC, grabs dust with it's grabby little microfiber cloth.....What else do you want or need to use on a $700 Display that can be DAMAGED BY WINDEX, or any other cleaner......ever seen brittle plastic due to what's in our air?
That's why I chose to use this stuff for my Customer's TV sets....

How do I clean the screen of an HDTV?
Q. I have a VIZIO 32' inch T.V. and it's dirty with dust and something else.
I'm not sure if you can use windex or not but I need help because if I don't clean it soon it's going to get worse. I appreciate you help and god bless you all.

A. God Bless you to man!.
don't use oxypower anything, or alcohol, cause it can peel the 'performance film' off the screen, just use a basic screen cleaning kit from office depot and you should be fine.
you cant use a rag, you must use a cloth-cause you could scratch the screen, and THAT is not good.
