No, LG is just an descent quality TV manufacturer. They have a high repair rate. I would prefer Samsung over LG because of its LED and picture quality. Go for the top of the line TVs for 2011, including the UN46d7000 or UN46d8000. These are the best sets in the market today, including 3D as well.

i have both an xbox 360 and ps3 system... now heres the problem on my old fat standard tv the quality picture was decent you know nothing that didnt bother me until it was time to step it up to hdtv status....so i bought myself a 2011 vizio 47 inch led tv and runs 1080p i believe and like i have an hdmi cable (bought it radioshack brand kind is what it is) and like the quality on the games is all grainy...like its not sharp enough to what i would see compared to youtube gameplay videos on the highest quality so yeah please help this is bothering me :(
